1.Characteristics
Slightly soluble in isopropanol,tetracarp,xylene,cotton seed oil,mineral oil. slightly soluble in liquid paraffin, insoluble in water. Mainly used in medicine, cosmetics, textiles etc. as water/oil type emulsifier, wetting agent and lubricant etc.

3. Applications/Usage
Emulsifier for cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. It helps to eliminate the oily film normally found after use of water in oil creams. As a lubricant, dispersant and softner for textiles.Also used for preparing water in oil emulsifier for neutral and mildly alkaline and acidic pH systems. Application in lubricants and rust preventive oils for corrosion inhibition property.It is also used for ethoxilation.
